I tested for promotion back in December and got my results back last night. Not only did I not make it, it was mathematically impossible for me to do so. The only part of the promotion process I have absolute control over is the test: 100 questions, 100 points possible. I was prescribed Percocet for my back. It was great until I passed out. I don't think I'm gonna be using that anymore.

I've been looking forward to playing hockey all week. This last week was so stupid I need the release of frustration that a good two hours or so of ice time can bring. I've been reading a lot of Irvine Welsh lately. He's the guy who wrote "Trainspotting". Anywho, fabulous writer. It normally takes me about four pages to get back to understanding what he's trying to write, becuase he writes in about four different accents depending on which character he's narrating.
