The road to the capital

The decision has been made to take the remains of the caravan to the capital. A night of rest and the ministrations of the cleric put everyone to full health. A couple of hours in the morning and a casting of shape wood gets the wagon working and loaded. The caravan sets out at noon with the three surviving caravaneers handling the wagons. I continue to focus my attack on lamia #2, calling another blindingly bright flash of lightening down on him from the clear sky, delivering 13 damage.

The dire wolf misses his second attack on lamia #3, closing his teeth around only empty air. (3+11=14 to hit)

Therkahn snaps at lamia #3 (19+7=26 to hit), dealing 6+2=8 damage. He then fails his trip (7+2=11 on strength check).

Still facing lamia #3, I begin chanting while miming the drawing of a bowstring with one hand. As I release the imaginary string, a shimmering green arrow flies from my hand toward the lamia.

16+4+1=21 to hit, 5 damage.

Show a cracker some love. What spell are you casting, and is that a touch attack or a regular to-hit?

(Sorry, I thought with my limited spell list the Acid Arrow would be easy to ID. Ranged touch.)

Oulah will again, without losing the grim look on his face, send three arrows winging towards the armored Lamia, The last arrow leaving his bow just as the first arrow slams into the Lamia. Each arrow trails a ghost of smoke from the smoldering remains of the chest of Oulahs hide vest.

I reach out my hand to make contact with Osilgard's leg as I chant a spell and his wounds instantly heal.

(cast 'cure light' Osilgard; 1 d + 5 = 7 + 5 = 12 hps)

(I discarded detect undead for the cure light)

I forgot to add my 5 step move to the side and back so I am partially hidden behind the side of wagon #1.

Verealing will fire at the still standing unarmed Lamia (#2) if it is within 110 ft(I can’t remember how far apart they are…), and at the armored one (#3) if not. (Not that it will matter with these attack rolls.)

9 rolled to hit+13 attack bonus-4 mounted archery=18 to hit
2 regular damage+2 shock damage+2 feat=6 damage
18 rolled to hit+13 attack bonus-4 mounted archery=27 to hit
3 regular damage+1 shock damage+2 feat=6 damage
13 rolled to hit+8 attack bonus-4 mounted archery=17 to hit
1 regular damage+3 shock damage+2 feat=6 damage

(I like Zaneak’s Gametable idea…)

There is no penalty for shooting from a static animal.
