Well the Match Maker set me up and now I'm freeking out. I am doing well and loving Israel and the learning. -
Across Town
I am changing Yeshivot to go from Machon Shlomo to Midrash Shmuel. This is in part due to it being a bigger Yeshiva with a little more to offer in programming, though the Rabbis are not a similar level. Thank G-d for email and phones.
All in all things are going well. I needed a change and have gotten appropriate blessings for the change. -

Carlbach
This past Shabbas I went to Moshav Moadiim (sp). This is a Carlbach startup community between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Rav Shlomo Carlbach did a lot of wonderful things for the Jewish people. He was accepting of each person and was constantly helping people. As he walked through New York he constantly was giving money to each homeless person ( Read more... ) -

My Rosh Yeshiva (Dean of the Religious school) says that Jews must hate the number two. This is duality that keeps us separated from the source. This is what keeps us from reaching our potential. One week and counting
The past two days have been a whirl. I started packing some of the major stuff now. I have to be out of the apartment by Friday. My closet is mostly cleaned out.
