Holy crap, I've been so afraid something like that would happen to me so it's why I haven't budged. But I'm inching. Because I'm only gonna get older, why not learn now? valpo's good for theater arts, ok for visual arts (i'm an art major and theater minor at VU, i should know). it's more of a nursing school than anything, though...and it's expensive as hell. you'd be better off starting off at PNC to get the basic credits out of the way, and then transferring to another college. you gotta make sure the credits transfer, though. some colleges don't accept certain transfer credits because they don't match up with the credits that they offer.

good luck figuring shit out! ^.^

Expensive? Meep. That's right, it's a private college? I just want to get the full feel of college. Like, living in dorms, the whole campus life. I saw somehting really cool on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJRIJJsnRDI Gehhehheh!

College seriously is about -trying- to figure shit out. But it's just me trying to figure it all out. X.x;;; Helllpppp! :D

I think I want to do Arts history and graphics design. I -think- I've been cramming for college info for the past week nonstop. The good thing is, I'm Native American :D and we're in the poverty level and my dad's a single parent.

Yeah, you probably can get financial aid. That's how I'm getting by (and loans, but we won't talk about those >_>;) When I started college, I had no clue what I wanted to do. I started out as Arts Administration, then went to Multimedia Arts (which is image editing, advertising, etc) and hopefully getting two concentrations: music and journalism. I've learned a lot about photoshop, and illustrator. I like those programs. I even made a children's book purely through illustrator. :D

I'm Native American too!! :O I went to a pow wow at St. Patrick's park in South Bend last weekend. It was soo neat. I danced too!! The only thing about that helping in school and whatnot, is that you have to have documentation for it I believe. I don't have any, because it was like something like my Dad's great aunt that had a fraction of Cherokee in her. =/

That video is pretty good. The black guy knows his stuff, lmao. Speaking of being bad, I slept through classes today! YAY FOR CRAMPS MAKING YOU PASS OUT!! >>

Of course I remember you. *Chuckles.* Thanks for expressing your care. I tell you, it just feels like life gets sooo sufficating when you're trying to figure out soo much on your own. But if I gave into that then I wouldn't be college material :).

Well atleast I hope I can survive. I don't think anyone I know here on lj has caved in when faced with all this themselves, so I'm going to use them as prime examples. When the going gets tough, the tough get going!
