The more days I spend working as a new grad in the ICU the dumber I feel. Seriously. But that's the way it's supposed to be, say the experienced nurses, so I'll believe them. I'm young for a nurse. Have completed my first week as a nurse in the ICU. Is exhausting, rewarding, and fun. Thirteen hour days on my feet kill me. On the to do list this week - buy new extremely comfortable shoes.
