Yesterday, Attorney General John Ashcroft announced his resignation. I was personally hoping to see Rudy Giuliani take over the post, as he served as the state Attorney General in New York before being elected to mayor. I am astonished to see that the Kerry camp is claiming a straight sweep of the debates. I agree that he won the first one, but the second, in my opinion, was a tie, and I think that the polls back this up. In an ABC poll 47% think Kerry won, 44% think Bush won, and there was a 4.5% margin of error. That's what is called a statistical dead-heat. I ( Read more... )
