It's not easy, because so many movies rely simply on gore and special effects in order to scare. Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but gore just doesn't scare me all that much. In fact, I find that the ( Read more... )

I never understood this show.

My theory was that it was made by a bunch of people who did a lot of drugs for their friends who did even more drugs.

My second theory is that no matter how many drugs one did, this show still wouldn't make any sense.

I'm also pretty sure that seeing a laughing baby in the sun is one of the signs of the apololypse.

Yes, truly scary.

Ooohh, just noticed, following on from your Doctor, Doctor quote I saw Matt Frewer on Saturday. He was one of the guests at London Expo. I got Star Trek, Max Headroom and A Town Called Eureka autographs from him.

OK, I was gonna add Silence of the Lambs, because I didn't breathe for the last 15 minutes of the film, but Teletubbies might just be worse - followed only by that purple dinosaur...

Silence of the Lambs should have definitely been on the list, along with the Teletubbies and that horrendously scary purple dinosaur! (Actually, I'm more afraid of the people who let their children watch those shows - no wonder kids grow up into serial killers!)

Have you ever seen "The Cell"? I remember buying it and waiting three months to watch it because I knew it was going to be creepy. It was. But I don't see anyone on the movie journals ever listing it. I feel like I'm the only person that has ever watched it. Ok, yeah, it's Jennifer Lopez. But I bought it because of Vincent D'Onofrio, whom I like as an actor. Anyway, I think it's pretty creepy. Check it out.

I would've mentioned that, but I don't have it in my collection; thus, it never crossed my mind.....unfortunately, though, there are just so many special effects in that movie.....

The Exorcist was on TV last night, and honesttogod, I couldn't stay on the channel.

It was the scene where the two priests were sprinkling holy water on Regan, repeatedly chanting, "The power of Christ compels you!"
