Sydney Dust Storm
Sydney turns red: dust storm blankets city
Worst dust storm to hit a major city in Australia. Victoria, South Australia and country areas get occassional dust storms but it is very very rare for Sydney. Has been described as a once in a lifetime event for Sydney.

Proposed disability parking scheme will exclude many people with disabilities

Ahmet Yildiz was an openly gay man in Turkey.
He was murdered.
It has been suggested that he was murdered by members of his family as an "honour killing", Ahmet being gay brought too much shame on the family name.
