The train journey from Mallaig to Fort William is regarded as one of the greatest railway journeys in the world. I have done it before, just on the ordinary train, and it really is a great trip. It’s lovely to see so much unspoiled countryside isn’t it? I marvel at the feat of engineering that bridge is :)

It really is good to see so much untamed countryside - we spotted deer and, I think, a pair of eagles. And yes - the viaduct is an amazing piece of engineering - it was built at the turn of the nineteenth to twentieth century.

It's my pleasure! Literally, as it is now here for me to go back to as well.

He is a thoroughly likeable husband - even though he does moan sometimes :) And he does like a good steam engine.
