What have I been up to? Well, there were teas at church, my cousin visiting for a week, including a nice meal out once some of the other bikers were on their way home so things were quiet, NYK2 and I spent an afternoon experimenting with making filled croissants, I have been knitting pink flowers, organising a picnic for a group of the Messy

All things lemon-based are well-loved in our family- we need to spend the lemons of our trees. Lemon cream sounds good!

I stirred home-made lemon curd into the plain cream. They were my favourite and, having just spoken to my daughter, hers, too.

We had fun working out how to fill them without it showing - and they were very good to eat!

It has been a really enjoyable couple of weeks - but I am very happy that today is the first day in ages that there is nothing at all on the calendar.
