Thing one is a challenge I saw on FB to alter the name of a music act to come up with something edible. The original suggestion was Fleetwood Mac'n'Cheese. This was quickly followed by The Rolling Scones, and a suggestion from someone else that in concert they should be supported by The Jam, and Cream ( Read more... )

That's interesting. From its position in the middle of the sea I don't know which language Manx resembles, Welsh or Irish.

Manx is much closer to both Irish and Scottish Gaelic - written down all three look quite different but, spoken, they are quite similar.

Yes! I would guess you would get the same effect by listening to Manx radio's Gaelic hub - although, to be honest, my own grasp of Manx is not good enough to understand the broadcasts.

i've once found a similar challenge - change just one letter of a name band to turn it into something funny. and someone wrote - foo fighters --> poo fighters!!! 🤣🤣🤣
