The knitted cord mill is fascinating, I've never seen one before.

The knitting mill is a really fun thing - a friend has one and I thought I could definitely make use of one. It has come in really useful for doing the trees. I don't think any ordinary form of knitting would have looked so good.
And yes - isn't it amazing - it seems such a short time ago that we first met her as an 'almost 7' year old. Even scarier is that NYK1 is currently working part time in a local electrical shop and going part time to the local college to re-do some of his exams - he was 16 in April.

I can remember eating curry as a six year old - my mum used to make it sometimes. Indian restaurants are just a way of life here - and, actually, we had curry from Marks and Spencer for dinner - they do a good chicken jalfrezi :)
