probably someone somewhere posted this before, but i just read it, and laughed and laughed. hahaha.

i passed my nclex. whew! that test was ridiculous and stressful, and by no means did it really *test* my ability to be an RN. what a load of crap. but boy am i glad to have passed! whew. wow. i feel so...free. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday was my last day as a Nurse Tech at HMC NICU. The next time I engage in paid medical care, I'll be a nurse. I found the transition last night when I left work at 7:30pm to be more jarring than my graduation. a 2 hour commute to harb today in the snow. no joke. 1.5 hours via the 73 downtown and another .5 hour climbing up the hill to harb from the bus tunnel. i forgot how hard snow and slush is to walk in when the sidewalks aren't shoveled. i almost twisted my ankles about 3 times each. got to work .5 hour late, but as i was in the majority of late ( Read more... )
