After the 2nd wash, I eventually concluded that Natalie's hair was still not fully clean from the Avocado Butter or the Olive Oil. Hi curly girls. Long time no see. I tried to unleash my natural curl back in 2004 but my hair was barely even wavy. My waves only lasted about half a day before my hair just looked messy so I gave up. I use baby shampoo in a foaming pump to keep stripping to a minimum and this works for me ( Read more... )

Do you prefer quinoa or brown sugar in your weekly scrub?

I'm Brandy, a wavy girl. I've just started reading the book, but have been shampoo free for a week. I've been conditioning with a -cone free conditioner. I'd like to wash my hair once a week or so and was wondering if it's okay to use Dr. Bronner's Lavender liquid soap. It's all natural, so I'm thinking it would work. Thanks!

Do any of you do anything special to your hair during the winter? My hair seems to have settled into a severe state of the winter doldrums. So flat and lifeless, no vim to it! And very frizzy.
