Master Fic List

Nov 27, 2009 19:20

I do hope my fic output doesn't continue increasing indefinitely, or I shall become a wraith. (Sorry, wrong fandom... *g*) It's very nice being able to write more than an average of one fic every three months, but four pieces from three different fandoms in the last 24 hours is pushing it - I need my sleep!

Anyway, I've decided it's high time I put together a master fic list, or I never shall remember what I've got published where... so here goes. (Yes, I could just do it on my computer, but where's the fun in that? Besides, my computers have a bad habit of eating my files at odd times.)

Velocizompire Apocalypse, published on FFnet June 8, 2008, and on Archive Of Our Own September 6, 2010 - my first fanfic. Stargate SG-1/MacGyver crossover, 1045 words. Gen, rated G. Summary: "Jack and MacGyver discuss plans for the velociraptor/zombie/vampire apocalypse. Just a little humor ficlet. Inspired by a story where Jack and Mac were brothers, but doesn't have to be read that way."

Venom Our Name Is, published on FFnet June 28, 2008. Spider-Man, slight Star Wars reference, 800 words. Gen, rated G. Summary: "Venom ficlet. No gore--Eddie and his symbiote save a little girl from a kidnapper, then try to cheer her up. Spider-Man does not appear."

Humor ficlet, slight SG-1 crossover. Does not require knowledge of Stargate or Hitchhiker's Guide universes, though it's probably funnier if you get all the references. Can be read as either Mac-is-Jack or Mac-is-not-Jack."

Jim, We Shrunk the Helmsman, published on FFnet February 6, 2009. Star Trek: TOS/Mother Goose crossover, I kid you not; slight Alice in Wonderland and Doctor Who references, 2540 words. Gen, rated G. I've also decided to list fics that were written on my suggestion or on plot-bunnies from me. They're generally much cooler than what I would have done with the same idea.

To Play, To Dream, published on October 26, 2009 by spikesgirl58 on mfu_canteen. Man from UNCLE, 664 words. Gen, rated G. Summary: "Illya Kuryakin plays..." Origin: I said "I have this mental image of a very young Illya during the early part of WWII, when Russia and Germany were allies, hanging around the German soldiers picking up their language and mannerisms. I like to think he drew on those memories for his portrayal of Colonel Nexor in The Gurnius Affair." And Spikesgirl randomly wrote me a fic based on that!

Convergence, published on December 20, 2009, by eponymous_rose on her LJ. Man from UNCLE/Sapphire and Steel crossover, 100 words. Gen, rated PG. Summary: [none given] Origin: Eponymous Rose did the "fics I'd never write" meme, and I asked her for "Napoleon and Illya meet Sapphire and Steel".

And your point is?, published on February 3, 2010 by togsos/nariB on FFnet. Man from UNCLE crackfic, 146 words. Gen, rated G. Summary: "Something very strange is afoot in U.N.C.L.E. headquarters" Origin: Complicated, but it involved me saying to Togsos in the Canteen, "tl;dr: I don't suppose you write gen? A new gen MFU crackfic would be something I would totally pounce on." So she wrote it, and true to form, I pounced. *g*

Distillate of Starshine, published on January 19, 2010 by primsong on her fic journal, written-leaves. Doctor Who, 100 words. Gen, rated G. Summary: "When I say run..." Origin: Prim asked for writing prompts and I, in her words (can't remember mine), "requested a touch of cuddle for Three and Liz".

A Fishy Story, published on March 19, 2010 by cleothemuse on her fic journal, cleothemuse-fic. Stargate SG-1, no word count given. Gen, rated G. Summary: "Jack goes fishing and actually catches a fish! Only problem is, no one believes his story." Origin: Cleo did one of those alphabet-prompt memes, and I requested Jack O'Neill with the prompt "xiphias" for the letter X.

Egging On, published on April 6, 2010 by primsong on my journal, in the comments to "Ruling the Roost", and here on her writing journal written_leaves. Doctor Who, 200 words. Gen, rated G. Summary: (none given) Origin: My April Fool's Day hat on Ravelry was a blue penguin, so I screencapped it sitting on 003's head and made it my new default icon. And at one point I said "Three looks much more patient with a blue penguin on his head than the Brigadier did!" So Prim wrote me a ficlet about Three and the Brig with penguins on their heads! *giggles*

(no title given), published on June 3, 2010 by john_elliott on lost_spook's LJ as a comment!fic. Doctor Who, about 400 words I think. Gen, rated G. Summary: "He's an impetuous umbrella-wielding shaman on the run. She's an artistic motormouth opera singer with someone else's memories. They fight crime!" Origin: Johne got that as a prompt off They Fight Crime and said the guy needed to be played by Sylvester McCoy. I said the girl needed to be played by Catherine Tate and somebody ought to write this now. So he did. Right there. Wow.

Let's Pretend, published on June 4, 2010 by lost_spook on her LJ. Doctor Who/Swallows and Amazons, 576 words. Gen, rated G. Summary: (none given) Origin: Lost_spook did a "give me two crossover characters and I'll write you a fic" meme. So I asked for Liz Shaw and Nancy Blackett, and she WROTE IT! And it is awesome!

Flight of Fancy, published on June 18, 2010 by lost_spook on her LJ. Doctor Who/Star Wars, 303 words. Ship!shipfic, rated G. Summary: (none given) Origin: In the aforementioned crossover meme, lost_spook asked for multiple prompts to choose from. So I also requested TARDIS/Millennium Falcon shippiness. And she wrote it. Squeeeee!!!
