Nasty windstorms. Took out power for about 40K homes around here. First thing I did when I got home was load up the old Snap song and danced around yelling "I've got the powa!" :)

Re: story. A tapestry that was actually a woman but was really a bird. I love dreams. Usually those stories don't end quite as happily for any of the characters. Maybe you've achieved some kind of breakthrough in interdimensional diplomacy...

Re: comic. Sounds like shenanigans that could tend to occur around you and friends (or more likely because of).

The backstory being, she was a swan maiden, basically. Only not a swan. (Red tailed Hawk at first, then Falcon by the end) As the stories classically go, when the swan maiden takes off her coat of feathers to bathe, she becomes a beautiful woman. If you steal her cloak, you can trap her in this form and make her your wife. These stories always end with the maiden running off after 9 years one way or another, often to become a battle maid, and typically with tragedy in their wake. Crossover with valkyries. Crossover here with Frigga's cloak as well. Mashed up in dreams, with an ending I would prefer where I break the spell for her and maybe she hangs around for awhile in appreciation. Make it a romance rather than a tragedy.
