Reminder: Goodbye/Birthday Happy Hour on Friday
This is just a reminder that my Birthday/Goodbye bar night is this Friday, September the 5th. I will be starting at 7:00pm at Cobalt and moving to Nellies at some point afterwards for food and/or more drinks.
This will be my very last night in DC. Please come out and give me the chance to say goodbye.

I finally got my visa! (moving details)
Ok, I admit I don't technically have my student visa yet, but what I am holding in my hand is the letter of introduction. I got a call from the Canadian embassy around lunchtime yesterday telling me that my paperwork for my study visa was available and I could pick it up the following day. (Commence jumping for joy!!!) So I hear apple is releasing a new version of its iPhone today. I would even bet that some people who own the first iPhone will be upgrading to this iPhone 3G. A couple weeks ago I started hearing back from grad programs that I applied to. As of last Friday, I accepted to one of my top choices the University of Waterloo, for a Masters in Computer Science. As of this fall I will me moving to Waterloo, Ontario in the great white north!
