House is getting emptier
I gt rid of the dining room set and the couches, none of which we want in the new place. I now very much need to clean the floors. The house is looking very empty. Filled with loudly playing children and frightened cats, but empty. -
Yummy squash

bandaids
We were in Walmart and found, for the same price as other bandaids, My Little Pony bandaids, in a metal box, with 225 teeny tiny stickers that you can put on the bandaids (which also have My Little Pony pictures on them already). Peanut loves them. This is the only kind of bandaid I am going to buy for the forseeable future. -
Swimming underwater
Peanut went swimming at my Dad's apartment today and decided it was great fun to look around under water with her goggles on. She has pretty much refused to put her head under the water in the past, so this is a very good thing. She was also pretending to swim underwater after we went back into Dad's apartment, which was very cute. -
What's that thing in the back of your throat
Peanut (who is supposed to be going to sleep): What's that thing hanging down in the back of your throat?
Me (who is trying to get her to stay tucked into bed): Your uvula.
Peanut: I can touch it!
I'm sure she is going to spend the rest of the evening sticking her fingers in her throat, sigh... -
Deep Woods Off
Mosquitos still bite Peanut and I even though we have Deep Woods Off on. Today I found a new better way to use it. Instead of spraying it on myself, I sprayed it on the mosquito, which stunned it long enough I could stomp on it. I did this several times, it worked well. -
House under contract
The house went under contract today. I am very glad. We had to drop the price a fair amount before we really started getting interest, but I guess that is okay. -
Tripod
After I saw Peanut balancing her new camera on things I gave her the small mini tripod my father gave to me back in the eighties. It works quite well, especially since modern cameras are light weight. Her camera can shoot video and she's already started to make commercials with it. She has also set her camera up as a spy camera. -
House for sale
We put our house on the market this week. The first people came by to look at it today while we were at church. Hope they liked it. -
like a sitcom
My mother-in-law just called and told me she's booking plane tickets right now to come down and visit tomorrow. I think for 17 days. It's like a sitcom :-). I think she is tired of being in wintery Pennsylvania and wants to be down here in sunny Florida.
