The word "caulk" isn't pronounced "cock" in the English accents that the Doctor and the Master use. After seeing the sketch show helpfully posted, then it made sense. Otherwise, not so much:0( I even experimented by asking peeps with different accents at work to pronounce it, it was erm, fun, trying to explain why I would need to know that;0)

I'm still a bit confused, though. Because in every online dictionary that I looked at before posting (because I'm paranoid, and now I'm paranoid again D:), including one excerpt from the Oxford English Dictionary, 'caulk' is pronounced 'kôk'. Um...I dunno? Had the people you asked seen the word before? Like, did they know how to pronounce it or is saying it like 'calk' a dialect thing?
