Unexpected kittenage.
For those who don't know me on Facebook or Google +, you won't have caught up with our becoming accidental guardians of an 8-9 week old little kitten on Friday, following my wonderful man stopping to pick up a kitten that was in the middle of the A48 at 8.30am on Friday morning. Last couple of weeks have been a bit crazy. We had an unscheduled visit to the vet due to Dante's cheek being horrendously swollen up. We suspected it was an abscess which appeared to have sprung up and it must have been hellishly painful for him, but he didn't make any fuss. Fright Night, and a scarily empty cinema.
I'm ancient. I remember the days of cinema where there were 2 showings of two different films in the only 2 cinemas in town, you queued outside, there were curtains and intervals and plush red seats. Today was not a good day for the first part. We went to bed last night wondering where the hell Mystic was, as we couldn't find her anywhere, and she has a tendancy to hole up if she's ill or wounded, and is likely to be hauled off to the vet's.
