I've noticed that no one on my LJ friends page has updated in almost a week. So I am writing about the mundane events in my life in the hope that it will inspire other people to update with more entertaining tidbits.

I feel soooo much better today!!! Y'know what I love? I love breathing through my nose. It's such a great feeling!

Last night, I went to Matt's. We ran to Blockbuster's and picked up a couple of movies that we ended up not watching because Matt decided that I really needed to see Lucky Number Slevin instead. It was surprisingly good. ( Read more... )

I'm trying to be a busy little bee today since I've been upgraded from a miserable feverish mess to a much happier chronic sniffler. Trying to get back into the habit of writing for grad school. Although if I write my grad papers like I write my LJ, there's probably going to be a problem. I was checking out a syllabus for my US survey course in the fall. It's pretty intense. There's at least one required text and three recommended texts for every class session. I feel way better now than I did this morning. I started to get a little of my appetite back this afternoon and went out to buy a bunch of those yummy organic bottled smoothie things (sorry, I can't remember the brand). And drank 2.5 of them. Supposed to babysit today, then two classes, then Matt's dad's b-day party. Currently not feeling up to any of that.

Went to sleep at 8pm. Wish I could sleep more now but I think I've used up all my sleeping energy.

At least I don't feel like eating either. Woohoo crash diet!

 I am sicker today than I was yesterday. This is unpleasant. I'm supposed to meet Brooke for lunch and I'm torn between wanting to cancel due to illness and wanting to go simply so I don't have to make food for myself. The latter will probably win.
