There is perhaps nothing so endearing as entering the bathroom, seemingly unnoticed and unheard, only to find a tabby cat on the threshold/door sill upon exiting. This happens to me almost invariably, and I appreciate it each time. Just started watching it, 18 - 20 years too late. (Do NOT tell me who killed Laura Palmer, you bastards!) Thus far, Sherilyn Fenn reminds me of Janine Turner, and Lara Flynn Boyle reminds me of Winona Ryder. -
All my life, my eyelids have hated me.
Today it's my right lower eyelid. Ow. I thought maybe I had an ingrown eyelash, not that I could see one, so I ripped out a few perfectly good eyelashes. It's OK; I have a stupid number of them -- there are two rows, at least, on my lower eyelid. Why is that necessary? Anyway, after hurting all damn day, now it's all swollen. Damn it! I had a bite of chicken because it didn't occur to me NOT to. This is going to be a process after all. Oh well. At least I can congratulate myself on how long it took me to screw up; I would've expected myself to do so almost immediately.
