hey guys im laura im 29 i look 15,, i been in hospital near on 3wks so totally bored now
so decided i would have a look at this live journal thingy.
so add me guys help get rid of my boredom xx

Welcome Laura. Lauren here. It sucks being stuck in the hospital that long. Internet is definitely a help though. Feel free to add me to your list if you'd like.

hey lauren, it really does suck, but its normal occourance (totally didnt spell that right)
the meds dont work in the first week i am on them so now have to have 3wks instead of 2, but thats life tis the way it is. tell me about yourself? xx

hey Laura. good to hear from someone new! being in the hospital sucks :/ I can relate. my longest stay was a month, and hopefully I don't have to do that again for a while. I hope all is well with you and also wish you as pleasant a stay at the hospital as possible (suckkkssss i knoww) But us CFers are usually pretty optimistic about these kinds of things. It's the cards we were dealt.

have you noticed just how optimistic cf'ers are? i think its amazing, but sometimes as im sure other people do i dont want to be optimistic haha. my longest stay was 8wks last year i went out my mind then hated it

yes i can understand that. I get in moods where I hate everything, but it usually passes lol.

Welcome! Boredom is something that comes pretty easy in a hospital bed lol. Unless there's some good commotion goin on in the hall haha. I love LJ, and writing in it not only helps pass the time but it helps you have a clear mind. Add me if ya want. My name is Cody, I have CF, and I'm post transplant a year and 4 months!

hi cody, how are you? i hop ethis LJ helps me to have a clear mind. i find the things i thinking when im in here i could do without thinking lol if that makes sense.

haha yeah that makes sense to me.
instead of dwelling on something, it helps me to write it down.
seems like it lifts a weight off of my shoulders

I find LJ super helpful during hospital stays (it gives me something to do so my brain doesn't turn to mush). Hopefully your stay won't be too boring! And it's nice to meet you. ^_^

Hey, I'm only two weeks late here (I'm not on LJ nearly as much as I used to be) but wanted to say hi and welcome. Hope you're out of the hospital and the boredness is over! I'm 32 w/CF - currently plugged in to an IV at home and killing time. Go figure. ;)
