So, there's a new brass band compilation album coming out in March to mark 25 years since the end of the strike. The heavy hitters are there, Grimethorpe (the band who did Brassed Off), Desford and Carlton Main (Frickley) etc but also there, providing track 5 is Bearpark and Esh ( Read more... )

So, on Friday we're not going to be in the office, we're going to be on a 'training day'. We're, apparently, going to learn all about customer relationship management and there will be 'roleplaying scenarios' involved.
