My mum's birfday is at the end of this week, and I am trying to find pictures of myself to add to a digital picture frame. Problem is, I don't have anything even remotely recent. Everything I can find of myself are from early 2000, or me dressed up at a convention ( Read more... ) -

Sister in law went to hospital today. I am not sure if there are any problems, but it was mentioned that the baby may need to be delivered cesarean section.
I am male, so was only given small snippets of information... enough to get me concerned that there may be a problem, but not enough to actually know anything going on.

Create a scare to make money
The Seattle Times cover story screams that the swine flu will infect 50% of us... and even worse, the "life saving" vaccine is in short supply. The PI next to it touts a similar swine flu end of days.

Head in the clouds
I forgot how fantastic it was to just spend an entire day at the airport, flying, and just BSing with the other guys. Once you leave the ground, all your cares and problems seem to just fade away.
Makes me wish aviation fuel didn't cost so much... or maybe just that the plane didn't use about 150 lbs an hour.
