I just got back in from running 4 miles. My right knee hurt a little bit near the end, but it wasn't more than a slight ache. I averaged around 10m10s per mile, but I was making a point to pay attention to my knees. Not a bad time in any case ( Read more... )

Is it just me or will anyone else find it ironic if the Bird flu finally becomes human to human transmittable because of its time in the country of Turkey?

Oh, and just for reference. I'm not at all concerned about the bird flu. I find the media's attempts at hyping up the DANGER (spooky spooky) to be more amusing than anything else.

How in the WORLD did Chuck Norris become so flipping popular all of a sudden?

And don't say it's because he's Chuck Norris.  =P

I did not have a good run last night. I felt really strong and my heartrate was where I wanted it to be during the run, but at around the 1.5 mile mark my knees started to ache. As I approached the 2 mile mark they started to ache a lot more and I ended up having to stop ( Read more... )

So it seems that two more people in Turkey have died as a result of catching the bird flu.

It also seems that they didn't catch it from eating an infected chicken. The latest theory is that they contracted the disease by playing with infected, dead, chickens.
