I do not want OhNOTheyDidnt's page to appear at all on my LJ. It is disgusting and inappropriate and I am shocked that LJ is so in need that they would allow this type of thing to appear on any member's page. I guess it is time for me to leave LJ.

Taking Down Christmas
I have taken all the ornaments and ballerinas off the tree. What remains are the lights and garlands. Tomorrow the garlands and Sunday the lights will be taken down and put away; I will also dismantle the tree and pack itaway in its box in the closet. New Year, New Hope. Out with the Old, in with the New. This will be a year of rearrangement of "stuff" prior to a projected move to new quarters. If not this year, then certainly by early 2015.

"Family" Supper
Tonight I am having three friends and neighbors in for hot dogs, beans and cole slaw. I do these "family" suppers in memory of my mother, serving meals based on the quick suppers my mother prepared for my sister and me and sometimes a friend or two of ours. PARTY
Yesterday our landlords treated the residents of my building to a wonderful Christmas dinner - all we could eat plus endless desserts supplied by us tenants. We had roast turkey with all the fixings. The third group that came to Bethlehem were the antithesis of the previous two groups, the humble poor shepherds and the well to do clairvoyant Magi. They were common soldiers who worked for a king.
