Probably means nothing to most people outside the UK, but he was probably one of the most influential DJs in the UK over the last 40 years.

Here's a fun project - create scale models of SpaceShipOne out of thin cardboard. I've had this model on my bookmarks for a while, but it's just been updated so you can build SS1 with the same configuration and decals as it had for the X-Prize flights.

So get your craft knives out!

Anyway, regardless - if by some merry chance I win the lottery or something, some cash will be set aside just in case he does get it working.

Hopefully, sometime this afternoon (my time) SpaceShipOne will fly above 100km for the second time in under a week, thus easily winning the X-Prize.

Woot!

For those who don't know, this afternoon (my time) SpaceShipOne will hopefully make the first of two flights to win the Ansari X-Prize. The X1 flight will launch at 6am PDT (whatever that is) but it takes a couple of hours for White Knight to circle up to 50,000ft and drop SpaceShipOne.
