The company I've been contracting work for since February intends to hire me permanently. I'll get a small base-rate raise, and more importantly, benefits. I just have to wait for the CEO (and the pursestrings) to get back from vacation. Yay, permanent employment! At a good salary! Using my degree! So I've been biking to work since moving into the new place; it's great, I come in feeling energized (and drinking less caffeeine in the morning), it takes half as long as the metro (costs less, too), and exercise++.

This week though, I got my first ( Buy a car! taunt. )

Time for my bi-monthy update! Well, it's not like I schedule these things that way, that's just how they seem to work out.
