"I might have promised to stop her before she hurt anyone in that fashion. While that was a transparent falsehood to make her feel better, I think she believed me." Think was another, though more nuanced, lie. Rose knew Lily had believed it. There was only one way to make it the truth, and that was to find Lily before any of the hordes milling around did.
The physical description would do. A bit bland, but there weren't too many young teens in the institute. Ilia knew the basics and that was all that was necessary if it turned out Lily was an attacker.
And by Rose's next words, it was confirmed. "Awful." The word was muttered in the tiniest of whispers, but also backed with anger. There was little else that angered Ilia more than someone taking advantage of children, and a child taught to kill rather than care was one of the highest forms of cruelty.
"The field. Alright." Ilia moved them northward. She had traveled this way with Anise in search of another friend taken from the institute. Indeed, the similarities grew more uncanny by the moment.
