1) the other guy is worse
  2) Biden's pretty old and unlikely to sexually assault anyone at this point in time, plus with the current pandemic, he'll probably get the overly-touchy thing under control.

Lost 5 lbs this week.  Even with going almost completely immobile after the fall.

I'm basically a hermit and have been for roughly 5 years?  I work from home and leave the house roughly once every 2 weeks when there's no vet drama going on.  That's almost always a grocery run.  In fire season even less.  I'm afraid to leave the pets alone, locked ( Read more... )

Left shoulder still hurts, right thumb is swollen

Neck seems ok.

There was a sharp pain in my back last night, but that seems to have gone away.

The worst of it is the shoulder and the thumb.

And the injury I will not describe that I was not aware of until I woke up this morning in a surprising amount of blood.

Not life threatening in any way.

I am a total wimp when it comes to pain.

Had a fall this morning.  Was watering the plants, turned around, caught my on the heater, started to fall, caught my left arm on the step-stool, and landed on the dog bed.

Synthetic Fluorphlogopite - that's the synthetic version of Mica.  From 4 letters to 16.  25 if you count the word synthetic.  Weird.

Anyway, changed the batteries on the scale.  2.2 pounds less than yesterday.  That was better than expected.

Have gotten to the point where my body is so swollen with fat that the pieces no longer fit together comfortably.

The added joy is that if I do lose weight, I'll have a severe turkey neck that makes me sick to look at.

But my level of discomfort is overriding my vanity.  So here we go again.

Breakfast: Banana oatmeal muffins (homemade) and coffee

Lunch: Chicken noodle soup (homemade)

Dinner: Spaghetti (sorta - noodles and tomato paste)
