Protest!
I went to a protest in front of parliament during my lunch break today. It was organised by these people and was a nice peaceful gathering of nerds (omg, so many nerds) presenting a petition to an MP to try and stop the "guilt by accusation" law that is due to come into force next week. Summer
Yesterday Nev deemed it too hot to do anything outside that required physical activity. (He doesn't do heat well at all). So to stop me from complaining about wasting a lovely day sitting inside at home, we drove around to Eastbourne to have a nosey ( Read more... ) -
Anniversary
It was our one year wedding anniversary today.
Last year, we had record rainfall and our guests had trouble getting home because roads were flooded. This year there were record high temperatures in Christchurch (poor mum!) and a nice summery day in Wellington.
As my lovely friend pointed out, we should've waited another year! -

I just found the cats' vet record booklets.
In the entry for Zari's first vet visit, it says "no abnormalities found"
In the entry for Basil's first vet visit, that spot is blank. -

I have been thoroughly snobbed for 4 days now and counting.
Admittedly, we did spend lunch time together today, but that's only because he can't play Warcraft at work.
He's talking on vent right now, and I'm heckling his half of the conversation. No bites.
