Okay people, please leave me your thoughts on the following topic:

What do you think about people who are dating and NEVER use eachother's names, but only disgustingly cliche epithets? I can understand the occasional nickname, but more than occasionally just makes me insane.

Agree. I can handle "dear" or "love" on occassion but that's about it.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people are talking about their significant other and instead of addressing them as "my boyfriend, Jim" and then just calling them Jim the rest of the conversation, they just keep referring to them as "my boyfriend" 17 times in one story. It always comes across as slightly possessive and kind of rub-it-in-your-face to me.

Agreed. It's like people lose their individual identity inrelationships and that FUCKING SUCKS. I HAVE A NAME THANK YOU.
