So, yesterday I attended the Scottish Highland Gathering and Games in Pleasanton. There were SO MANY men in kilts. I had a kiltgasm. Hell, I had multiple simultaneous kiltgasms. Things I did at the Highland Games:

Um, hey guys! Yes, I'm not only alive, but still have access to the internet and etcetera. Mostly I've been AWOL because I'm working on my new book, which is going REALLY well.

OPENING NIGHT
Soooo, the play's opening tonight. I'm...a little overwhelmed. I'm running on very little sleep, this whole week. Well, that's the nature of the beast...of the play.

Why does something called a "play" involve so much work?
I really don't mean to disappear from the internet for weeks at a time. But yowza, this play festival is really taking it out of me. It's less the actual work from the play, and more the driving to Ukiah every night really late that's taking a toll. When I'm THERE and I'm working on it, it's fine.
