At this rate, it probably will take me about a bombzillion months to read HP. I'm only talking about this because EVERYBODY in the goddamned world seems to think that they have a duty to constantly update their precise Harry Potter book-reading position...which is fine. Soooo I've been snooping around to find scholarships that I can apply for. Anyway, I came across the Christine Mitus Rose Memorial Scholarship and in the description it says, verbatim:

Scholarship available to students who have had a parent die; preference to those who have had a parent die of cancer.

Before Jim Henson became famous with his Muppets, he used to do commercials for a product called Wilkin's Coffee (you can probably find them somewhere in the deepest regions of the internets). They were black and white and starred these two, crudely made, sock-like puppets.

I don't think I've ever met a more unlikable woman in my life.

So I finished a drawing of my favorite Scottish pirate, which can be seen by clicking here. I never got around to finishing the boat (which is why it looks like...well, not a boat) because, quite frankly, Scarlet, I don't give a damn (about boats).
