Since I don't want to give this guy anymore publicity than he already has (he's a best-selling author) I am refusing to mention his name although if you really want to know whether i've done him justice I will of course tell anyone who asks. Trying to get back into uni mode without actually being at uni is hard. My brain is undisciplined mush and it doesn't particularly feel like being unlazy any time soon...*yawns and goes off to watch more tv* :P :P

I hate waiting for exam results to appear online....

Last night I saw Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf at the Belvoir.

from my environmental psych notes:

frogs - placed in hot water jump out immediately
- heat gradually and they boil to death

i'm sure there was some reasoning behind this but can't remember other than a generalised point that the environment can influence behaviour...

i hate this weather. i should sleep.

Recently read book: Extremely loud and incredibly close. I really liked it but it left me feeling sad.

*yawn*

today lunch began with appetisers: champagne (with hibiscus flowers - yum), cheese and chilli jam and biscuits, cashews, walnuts and dates

Lunch was: lamb curry, sweet and sour fish, spare pork ribs, pan-fried mushrooms, gai lan (chinese veg) and rice

Dessert was: almond peachy pie and chocolates.

I am so full. :P

...i was focused, cold, sleepy, cheerful, bored witless and cranky (evil tute), i had a slight tummy ache (hot dog + twix in quick succession not so good an idea), had an interesting tute (development of gender identity/role) where i partly slept through a video, fun lecture (social psych - interpersonal attraction), started to get more stressed ( Read more... )

i was graded and am now an orange belt in judo!

i slept through half a lecture - baaad. And it wasn't because it wasn't interesting, i was just suddenly so incredibly tired.

i can't remember what else i was going to say.
