I think it's been over a year since I updated this, but I wanted to write something to a select group of people regarding Valentine's Day weekend. Facebook has far too many relatives on it & I don't trust their limiting features with recent changes.

Tomorrow night is Dining Out for Life. Restaurants all around the country will be donating at least 25% of their revenue from the evening (and in some cases morning and afternoon) to fight AIDS. Thus far, since the start of Passover I have been keeping kosher. It's harder than I thought it would be. I'm also sticking to the unleavened bread and such as well. I'm not sure why I'm doing this. Anyone have a good chocolate souffle recipe that a beginner can make? Also, I don't have the specific remekins for a souffle, I have ones for doing creme brulee, but they aren't deep enough, I have 2 little Corningware dishes that might work, but only two of them. So, I'm SERIOUSLY craving thick, kettle cooked potato chips (or other yummy thick cut chips) with fresh onion dip. If it wasn't raining I'd make a run for 7-11 and just make my own onion dip from sour cream, but it's nasty out. Tomorrow night's concert at the NorVA has been postponed. So...this leaves me without plans for St. Patty's Day. I must call my uncle, wish him a happy birthday and my condolences on the recent death of his mother. Other than that, I anticipate going to a pub or something. Free at last, free at last, thank Ceiling Cat Almighty I am free at last!

Please keep Jethro in your prayers. He is currently sedated at the vet. Apparently the sore on his face is some kind of growth. They are going to remove it and send it to the lab for analysis. He'll be getting some stitches and antibiotics. I really hope and pray that it's not cancer. He may seem like just a cat to you, but he's my baby.

So, even with the collar on Jethro has managed to re-open up his face. I'm not sure what to do at this point. He'd started to grow fur over the scar, but now it's open and bleeding again. Not good. Poor kitty is self-destructive. Any suggestions? I'm thinking he's going to vet this week.
