This is actually pretty kewl. Earlier last week they observed a 'solar tsunami' or Moreton wave, on the sun from a new solar telescope in New mexico.

It is cool. (I love space.com.) Thanks for bringing it to everyone's attention because otherwise we might have missed this interesting little occurance. Well, a little occurance, relatively speaking. I also like that the sunspot is number 929. It has to do with the small number I love a lot (and no one else on earth knows why!)
