I'm so sorry. I can only imagine how I would feel if the same circumstances went on at The Universal.
Don't give up. You girls provide a much needed night and a lot of people would be sad if the hope of another night was gone.

thankyou :) yes i am sad about it all. I feel like my lifeforce has been drained a bit. It was a fun hobby while it lasted though. I only hope that it is not the end, that I will still be able to host events and DJ somewhere else, and bring in some bands. This town needs all the excitement it can get! I just need to decide what night other than thursday would be good to do these events, since a weekend may not be available. anyways, thanks for the kind words! also glad to know you are still having fun with your gig!

yes :( but the owner said we are free to have an all ages night every first sunday of the month and bring bands too :) and we can still have the bar separated from the rest of the dancefloor so people can drink. the only catch is that it will have to end my like 11:30 or 12. but at least it is something! will inform you of any future events!

god damn.... this is still very strange. a place i spent nearly a year and a half at is closing. i'll have to admit,though drunk, i had some ok times there. and actually that would be cool. just let me know when stuff is goin' on and head out. and let me know when you actually want to do something! we can go have lunch. dions anyone? ;)

I am really sorry to hear this news :( I am glad I got to go hang out there on one of my trips out there and I have to say I was really impressed with it, so I am sad to see it go. But it's good that you have such a positive attitude in terms of the fact that you can realize how hard you worked. That is the best way to look at it....Plus, with all you have to offer in terms of your creativity (from what I have seen of it) I am confident you will find plenty of other outlets for it!
