I am so fucked. I have a paper due tomorrow and I still don't have the book I need (Democracy for the Few by Michael Parenti). I pre-ordered it from the college bookstore last week, thinking I'd just mosey on by this afternoon and pick it up. Apparently they are closed weekends in June and July. I just had a 25 minute conversation about furthering my education with a Nigerian medical student working as a telemarketer. I didn't want to hurt his feelings so I just chatted with him and let him tell me all about colleges in my area, despite the fact that I am currently enrolled. This has been a niceweek.
It's been very hot the past few days, close to 30C.

Yesterday I took a two hour catamaran boat ride in Tigre with my Abuela Martha, it was lovely and breezy and beautiful.
