We finally got our stimulus check and deposited it on Saturday.  Today I went to transfer some of the money into our ING account and there it was- in the security questions:

The name of your oldest nephew?

Ouch.  And while it kind of threw me for a loop for a second, I got over it and signed in.

I'm so tired.  My body aches as I sit here at work.  I can't concentrate on anything.  My time is spent doing small tasks I can wrap my mind around.

I don't think I'm sleeping that well.

A good lift came yesterday in the form of Josh and Ashley.  Wonderful people.  Hopefully Mailan will be a good lift as well.

One can only hope.

My nephew died last week.  More importantly my brother and Ashley lost their son.

I can't imagine how much they hurt.  I see how much it hurts me and can't figure out how they are doing so well through all of this.  But they are stars.  I had to come back to work today (not that they willingly gave me time off to begin with) and it's a little like ( Read more... )

I am so deeply saddened.  I'm not sure I'm ready to write why.

It's family time now. 

I pretty much almost died on Sunday.  I had the worst stomach flu I have ever encountered.  I feel like I threw up everything I ate in a week.    Two days later I still feel like I have beaten up.

Ouch.

Phew.  I'm done.  Two months off.  Two glorious months... 

 I twisted my ankle taking out the trash last night.

Note to self-  Do not take out the garbage in heels.

It's not bad, no bruising, just a little swelling.

 It's amazing the things we hold onto throughout the years.  The memories, trinkets and souvenirs.  The fading pictures and notes that although bent, still lead to the same nostalgic thoughts.  An even though you know there is no chance to get that feeling back, you try time and time again.  With other friends, family- anybody really, but that ( Read more... )
