With the merger between DL and NW, the accounts officially merged today and even though I had nearly 2 million lifetime miles on NWA, they figured out which ones actually counted toward Million Miler and I crossed the line by a good 50k.. so I should be getting the goodness sometime before the end of the year. That means I'll never fall below

So yesterday, we hung out all over the center of Reykjavik. It is a rather small city, so very navigable and walkable in an afternoon (if you don´t want to hit many of the museums it is definitely a day trip - so much so that the Lonely Planet book says to go to the Golden Circle on day 2

Well, after heading over to Skaftafell we hiked around the glaciar and then to see some waterfalls on the other side of the park. It was pretty lovely and definitely the highlight of the day. We then made our way back toward the West and hit some crazy rain around Vik. We had a quick lunch then made our way toward the Geysir (rather cool) and
