In spite of the Santa discussion we had an idyllic weekend. Saturday we took a train ride through part of Litchfield county and over a dam. We had the engineer and a volunteer all to ourselves. aquafolius I am so sorry. I just remembered we were supposed to meet at 12:45 for lunch.

Looks like a Dr. visit is in my immediate future. Feels like a sinus infection has moved in. Fortunately it made its presence known before I left for New York on vacation. I guess if I had to have one, now is better than next week.

Doctor says no concussion and nothing broken. Keep ice on the face and you are going to feel worse as the day wears on. Just wonderful news. Decided to go home instead of back to work. I'm o.k. as long as I don't talk, smile or laugh. Thank you for all the kind thoughts.

Cement is very unforgiving when you bounce your face off it. Today is definitely a Monday. Caught my foot in a hole in the floor of the parking garage, landed on my bad leg where the knee promptly gave way and caused me to land face first into the cement floor.
