Moving Day...
The day has finally arrived. We're moving in about a week.
I'm actually kind of scared...I don't remember us moving to this house at all. (i was 3 at the time) But now I'm 17 and we're outta here. So I'm nervous about it. We've got so many boxes it's ridiculous, and so much crap to move it's not funny...
(sigh) Well, Mom and I'll get through it -
Stupidity of US Border Protection.
I've lived the past 12 or so years in Mexico. Moving day is approaching fast, so my Mom and I go house hunting on an almost weekly basis. One week, seemingly out of the blue, the ID checker at the international bridge asks me how old I am. (16). He then tells us that because I am 16, I need a passport card/passport if I am to continue crossing.
