1) We went to see "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the Whiting yesterday. Totally satisfying experience. The music was superb, hadn't heard it for a loooooong time and I had forgotten how much I liked it. I use to make much of the girls' clothes when they were little, darling short sets, little dresses, sweet tops. I went to JoAnn's tonight to get some fabric to make little girl dresses for missions only to discover that JoAnn's really doesn't carry much regular fabric anymore. Yup, we headed out to Saginaw late morning for Brunch at Jakes. A long drive for brunch but Sue's good friend and mentor, Sam, was waiting tables so we drove over. Fantastic Brunch. My Minderz and her Keithanator flew off to Vegas today. I am so happy for them since, strange as it may seem, I adore Vegas. I did it. I broke down and bought a new sewing machine. So far, I've only make a tiny dress for a church mission project but I just adore the way it sews. If you've never bought a new sewing machine, it's sort of like buying a car. You're so afraid that you'll make a mistake and you'll be stuck with it for years.
