People follow rather odd chains of logic sometimes.

I don't know if I should participate in this or not. I start writing a lot of stories, but I never progress beyond the start of the story. Its one of those things where I'd like to but I don't know if I actually can or not.

I wonder if compassion is supposed to be an inherent quality or a learned quality. If its a learned quality, what does it say about the environment I grew up in that compassion is something so hard for me to have? I can't see why everyone was so up in arms about impacting the moon. Its a big rock orbiting the Earth. Yes the moon represents a great number of things, Luna etc etc so forth. But does putting a crater in the thing mess up what it represents? Everyone who is a practitioner knows that its not the physical object itself but what it represents. A ( Read more... )

Why does it seem that the entire healthcare thing is being done wrong entirely? Its like, first we force everyone to get it or they are penalized, then penalize companies that already give good insurance to their employees. I know compromise means no one is happy, but hell, the way it currently is is better than what they want it to be.
