Since coming to the DC metro area, I have not had good buffalo wings. And this is a shame, because I love good buffalo wings. Can anyone recommend places in the area (first person to say Cluck U gets beaten). There must be somewhere in this town that actually crisps their wings and coats them with a tasty, spicy sauce. In a spectacularly unhelpful and irritating move, the P Street Whole Foods has stopped carrying spices in bulk.

Anybody have suggestions for an alternate source in the area? 

Two foodie friends are coming to visit from San Francisco and would like to go to a Caribbean restaurant. Any suggestions? Metro-accessible would be nice. Thanks!

Hello, I'm a transplanted local girl, and I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can find "some local kind grinz."  I'm specifically looking for a place that does plate lunch: kalua pork, lomi lomi salmon, lau lau....that sort of thing.  Know of any?

I'm craving some chicory coffee something fierce. I'm sure I can find some Cafe Du Monde chicory cofee at some or other supermarket, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a French or New Orleans cafe/restaurant that might serve it up round these parts.

I'm going to be close to Ellicott City one night next week and wanted to know if you have any restaurant recommendations in the moderately-priced category.  I've never been there before.  Is it worth the visit?
