wow...man...this is amazing. i think that homosexuality in rap and hip-hop will be something at least close to norm when i'm older. it's amazing that i never heard anything about a gay or lesbian rapper when i was young. magazines made it a big thing when one came out, like it was a rarity, the words "how can he be gay when he's a rapper!?!" followed the headline to grab your attention. now i'm 20 and the gay rapper is a norm, i'm beginning to see it everywhere. now when i hear a gay rapper on mainstream radio (if there already is a song by any gay/lesbian rapper and i havent heard it then i must be living under a rock) it would let me know that at least we're being heard. that letter was heartfelt.
