Reading the cynicism of Celine and I'm smiling as the pages go by. But of course, Camus was once quoted saying that Celine purposely wrote cynicism in hopes of selling hundreds and thousands of copies. Does that mean I'm reading "pop" Literature of the olden days? Anyhow, an update: I'm moving to Maryland next week. I will be teaching at the Maryland School for the Deaf. Totally unplanned and random. I'm excited. New place. My 9th state in 24 years. Got a long ways to go.
