The Rules

Each week, debates will be posted according to the schedule, on Mondays at approximately Noon EST. Over the course of the season, each participant will debate the eight general topics, along with four current event debates. Sorry this is coming in so late, but putting this schedule together was a huge pain in the ass. I've updated the schedule with this week's debate topics. I'll finish updating it later tonight so that everyone knows what they'll be debating and when they'll be debating it. I still need suggestions for our eight general debate topics. I've got a few ideas, but not quite enough. So far I've got:

Social Security reform.
Public vs. Private healthcare.
How to deal with Iran/North Korea.
Public Education reform.

Any other ideas?
